Karie Bland's second-grade class from Peachtree Academy in Covington recently attended Zoo Atlanta's 100 Day Giant Panda Cub Naming Celebration. The panda was named Po, after a character in the movie "Kung Fu Panda." Jack Black, who was the voice of Po in the movie, and Gov. Nathan Deal also attended the ceremony. Pictured with Bland and the panda Xi Lan, from left, are students C.J. Bragg, Ella White, Alexa Anderson, Zeke Smith and Cyler Wilcox. The students received sweatshirts with pictures of the three baby pandas born at Zoo Atlanta -- Mei Lan in September 2006, Xi Lan in August 2008 and now Po in November 2010.
