Restaurant owner hit by vehicle

One of the owners of the Mandarin Palace restaurant, located on U.S. Highway 278 in Newton Plaza shopping center, was seriously injured when she was struck by an automobile driven by a customer who was allegedly trying to leave the restaurant without paying his bill, according to the Covington Police Department.
