Covington Lions Club member Betty Standard, above, shops for the ingredients to be used for the club's 10th annual Chili Supper. The all-you-can-eat event will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lions Club Pavilion at Academy Springs Park. Tickets for dinner, which includes chili with all the trimmings and iced tea, are $5. Children can eat hot dogs if they prefer and desserts will be available for a donation. All proceeds from the event will be used for sight and hearing impairment charities. Tickets are available from any Lions member or can be purchased at the door.
