Soon families of students with disability can attend the Walton County Resource/Transition Fair.
It is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at Loganville High School. Parents, caretakers, teachers ad paraprofessionals are welcome.
It will include more than 50 exhibits and vendors dealing with support groups, independent living, employment options, service providers, estate/will information, financial options, respite care and summer camps.
Breakout sessions include Medicaid COMP/NOW Waivers; Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts; Vocational Rehab/Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehab Center; SSI Benefits Navigator; Project SEARCH; and Summer Camps/Respite.
Admission and child care is free.
