When daylight came Thursday morning, residents had to look quick to see the beautiful overnight snowfall. Temperatures hovered just above freezing, keeping the roadways clear, but allowing the damp snow to hang heavy on the trees and grass. By 10 a.m., it had all but disappeared, but it was beautiful while it lasted. The walking trail at Turner Lake Recreation Complex was untouched early in the day and the wooded areas looked picture perfect with a new coat of snow.
