Those winning first place at region will attend the state competition in Macon on March 12. Several students from Piedmont Academy recently participated in the 2011 Oconee RESA Technology Fair held at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. The multimedia group used PowerPoint or MovieMaker; non-multimedia used Microsoft Publisher; digital photography used several different programs including Photoshop; 3-D modeling used Sim City; and animated graphic design used endorphin robotics created and programmed robots to run on their own without assistance. Sponsors Ashley Cook and Traci Brady attended the competition with the students.
