CITIZEN'S ALL-AREA VOLLEYBALL TEAM

First team

Kendra Lackey, senior, right side hitter, Rockdale. The Area 8-AAAA player of the year had 420 kills and 85 aces to help the Bulldogs reach the state quarterfinals for the first time in school history.

Libby Bradford, senior, setter, Rockdale. During first-team all-Region 8 season, had a school-record 814 assists and added 100 kills and 94 aces.

Abby Bradford, sophomore, middle hitter, Rockdale. The younger sister of Libby, was second on the team with 271 kills, leading to a second-team all-area 8 honor.

Brittany Frost, senior, outside hitter, Rockdale. First season as a full-time starter and was named to all-area 8 second team and had 177 kills.

Katie Johnston, senior, outside hitter, Eastside. Led the Eagles in kills (318) and aces (97).

Tiffany Lo, junior, setter, Eastside. Had a team-high 468 assists and 59 aces in helping the Eagles win 20 matches.

Amrika Ramcheran, senior, setter, Heritage. Led the team in assists and aces in helping the Patriots reach the state playoffs.

Kourtney Kelley, senior, outside hitter, Heritage. Led the team in kills and was second in digs.

Jaida Allen, junior, middle hitter, Rockdale. Set a single-season school record with 99 blocks and added 188 kills.

Second team

Alex Adams, senior, libero, Rockdale. A second-team all-area 8 recipient, led the team with 130 digs and added 35 aces.

Alycia Johnson, sophomore, outside hitter, Rockdale. Had 179 kills and 29 aces.

Katlyn Reynolds, senior, outside hitter, Heritage. Second on team in kills and digs.

Sidney Johnston, sophomore, middle hitter, Eastside. Second on the Eagles in kills and led the team in blocks.
