Movie: 3 1/2 out of 4 stars
Disc: 3 out of 4 stars
The highest-grossing film of director Woody Allen's long and storied career is easily his most commercially accessible effort since "Annie Hall." Owen Wilson plays a successful screenwriter who is vacationing in Paris with his fiancee (Rachel McAdams) and future in-laws and is contemplating many changes in both his professional and personal life. In a manner akin to the one in "Being John Malkovich," the Wilson character is transported back in time to the city's artistic golden age where he rubs elbows with some of the most famous writers and artists in history.
Technical specs: aspect ratio: Widescreen (1080p/1.85:1), audio: English and French (Dolby DTS-HD MA 3.0), subtitles: English, French and Spanish.
