Mr. Michael G. Funderburk, 55 of Covington passed away December 15, 2011 at Piedmont Hospital. He was born in Augusta, GA to L.C. and Irene Hollis Funderburk. He was a Printer with the Atlanta Journal Newspapers for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Funderburk is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Anna Rozier Funderburk of Covington, his parents L.C. and Irene Funderburk of Jefferson, GA, children Sandy and Elton Harper of Covington, Laurie Funderburk and Brian Funderburk both of Covington and Joseph and Christin Funderburk of Grayson, GA, grandchildren Corey Rhodes, Brooklyn Ruby Caldwell, Michael Funderburk, Seth Harper, Ellie Harper, Lillie Harper, Brody Funderburk and Mason Funderburk, brothers Rick and Pam Funderburk who live in Florida and Randy and Lorraine Funderburk of Newborn. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Newborn United Methodist Church with Pastor CeCe Nickolich officiating.
