A second group of Liberty Middle School students recently graduated from the Newton County Sheriff's Office program, "It's party time and it's no game." The program is a drug and alcohol prevention program, designed to show students the importance of making good choices in life. Among the speakers at the graduation ceremony were NCSO Sheriff Ezell Brown, Newton County Coroner Tommy Davis and NCSO Training Coordinator/Chaplain Lt. Paul Gunter. The students also took a tour of the detention center (shown here as they are about to enter) and when it was completed, each vowed to never see the inside of the facility again.
