CONYERS -- A Conyers man wanted in Newton County on a failure to appear warrant was charged with drug violations by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office Friday.

According to the RCSO incident report, an informant at Allied Recycling called a deputy shortly after 5 p.m. to report that Michael Wayne Christian, 37, of 1840 Francis Road, was at the Old Covington Road business with scrap metal.
