Exuding Christmas cheer, is this Conyers Street house owned by the Durusau family. The Citizen will feature an assortment of Christmas lights throughout the community in the Sunday edition. The Georgia Department of Insurance issues the following safety guidelines for holiday lights: Buy only lights labeled by a recognized testing laboratory; check out lights annually for frayed or damaged cords; use only small or LED lights on Christmas trees; make sure to use only lights designed for outdoor use outside and only those for inside use inside; always unplug all decorative lights before leaving home or going to bed; don't overload electrical outlets with multiple plug adaptors or power taps; don't leave cords where they can trip someone; and don't run extension cords under a carpet or rug.
