Cricket is a German Shephard-mix and about 4 months old. She's had a rocky start to life, having been dumped on the side of the road with an old inuury to her back left leg. No doubt she's wondering why her life has been so scary thus far and would like to settle down in a stable home. She'll probably weigh around 60 pounds as a healthy adult. She's up-to-date on all her shots and deworming and can be rescued and adopted at Rockdale County Animal Care and Control Shelter at 1506 Rockbridge Road in Conyers. At the Rockdale shelter adoption fees for dogs are $30 and $20 for cats. Spaying or neutering is required for adoption. The shelter is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is 770-278-8403. ----
