2011 Covington Christmas Parade
The city of Covington held their annual Christmas parade Saturday to usher in the holiday season. Wonderful, late fall weather that gave everyone a chance to get out and enjoy the hundreds of floats, marching bands, vintage cars and other sights and sounds of Christmas.

2011 Conyers Hometown Parade
The city of Conyers held their annual Hometown Holiday Parade Saturday to usher in the holiday season. Wonderful, late fall weather that gave everyone a chance to get out and enjoy the hundreds of floats, marching bands, vintage cars and other sights and sounds of Christmas. The parade was followed by the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree at the Rockdale County Court House.
Conyers and Covington held their annual Christmas parades Saturday to usher in the holiday season. Both events enjoyed wonderful, late fall weather that gave everyone a chance to get out and enjoy the hundreds of floats, marching bands, vintage cars and other sights and sounds of Christmas.

I think this years route for the parade was a good one had everyone known the square would not have been so crowded I have been in the parade the last several years and enjoy seeing Covington residents come out for this kinda puts me in the spirit thanks covington for a great day

I too, really liked the new route - less dangerous to have the entire parade end up back where we started, without people jumping on and off floats at a "split" for riders & walkers... Great job Lions Club & Mainstreet Covington for organizing another fabulous parade! Well done, and so proud to call Covington "home"! :-)
