Due to an equipment failure during an overnight upgrade by the site's host Internet service provider, the Newton Citizen website was down for much of Friday morning and into the afternoon. The issue was resolved at about 1:30 p.m.
The Newton Citizen apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
