Former Heritage goalkeeper Melissa Drish pitched her first shutout of the 2011 season this past weekend. Drish, a sophomore at the University of South Alabama, had to face just two shots on goal, but saved them both in the Jaguars' third consecutive victory, 2-0 over Jacksonville State. In four games, all starts for South Alabama, Drish is 3-1 in net and has saved 11 of 17 shots on goals. South Alabama will spend the Labor Day weekend in the Trojan Classic at Troy University in Alabama. Drish and the Jaguars open the tournament with Alcorn State on Friday at noon, then play Nicholls State on Sunday at noon.
