Avenue of Champions is being prepped for repaving. The road is frequently used by large trucks traveling to and from industries and is in need of repair. Crews were pouring cement Monday in preparation for paving. Chris Green with MAHB Paving out of Oxford directs traffic Monday afternoon. Henry Harrison, also with MAHB Paving, prepares the road for paving with a motor grader. The work is being funded through city of Covington SPLOST funds.
