Emmons-Minear Wedding
Lydia Emmons and Scott Minear were married July 9 at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville. Pastor Franklin Scott officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Scott Emmons and Deborah Emmons of Conyers. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree. She is currently in her graduate program at Liberty University.
The groom is the son of Frank and Tammy Minear of Marietta. He is completing his bachelor of arts degree at the University of Georgia this year.
Sarah Chancey of Denver, Colo., sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Amy Gray of Conyers, and Shelby Minear, the groom's sister, served as bridesmaids.
Jacob Burton, served as the best man. Chris Chancey and Ryan Vagnas served as groomsmen.
After a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Athens.
