Robert Mumford
Conyers — Former Rockdale County district attorney and Superior Court judge Robert Mumford announced Monday he is a candidate for Rockdale County Superior Court Judgeship in 2012.
The non-partisan election is scheduled for July 31, 2012. The position is currently filled by Judge Sidney L. Nation, Sr.
“I believe my legal, judicial, and legislative experience will give voters confidence in my ability to serve them in this important office,” Mumford said in a prepared statement released late Monday night.
