Kellie Gambino working on a mural in the front hall at the Montessori School of Covington. She has been working on it since May and works on it when she has time off.
Former art teacher Kellie Gambino is helping to brighten up the Montessori School of Covington. Gambino, mother of 6-year-old Madeline and 4-year-old Jack, who are students at the school, began in July painting a landscape scene at the school. She said it is a gift of gratitude to the school for helping her and her husband raise environmentally conscious children who also are curious and bright. Right, Gambino thought that natural light and a new mural would bring some of the outside indoors in the wide hallway entrance. The mural paint also is environmentally friendly, like the school. The project is expected to be finished later this month. Gambino also has painted several baby nurseries, her kids' rooms and some play rooms.
