Special Photo. Newton High School recently announced its top graduates in the class of 2011, as well as the school's 2011 valedictorian and salutatorian. Shown here are the top students, which this year total 11 because two students were tied. They are, from left, (seated) Tiara Turner and Taylor Pruitt; (back row) Valedictorian Brody Ingram, Kristin Lea Barnett, Rashia Dunbar, Lori Thomas, Becca Brazelton, Qadeerah Sharif, Destiny Giles, Briana Copes, and Salutatorian Brian Carpenter. The graduates are expected to hold ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Church in the Now, 1877 Iris Drive S.E. in Conyers.
