Alvin Snellgrove checks the battery in his 1970 Chevelle SS in preparation for Sunday's Cars of the Past Car Show sponsored by the Rotary Club of Covington. The show will take place on the Square in downtown Covington from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to the public. Proceeds from entry fees and a 50-50 raffle will benefit the Rotary Club's various charitable causes, including the Empty Stocking Fund, which provides toys to needy children during the holidays.
