Prior to Piedmont Academy's football game Friday against the Briarwood Buccaneers in Warrenton, fans from both schools had the opportunity to attend a book signing with former University of Georgia football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley, who was invited to Briarwood by a parent of the school.
Coach Dooley is the author and co-author to several books including his latest, "Vince Dooley's Garden: A Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach." Dooley also flipped the coin for the team captains; Piedmont won the toss but deferred to the second half, when they won the game 62-32. Pictured are Samantha Ramsdell, Mary Ashlynn Dennis, Nina Blackshear, Justin Wilson, Dylan Collins, Coach Rhett Farmer, Coach Dooley, Jakey Dunagan and Willy Roberts.
