Bob Overstreet and Susan Wahl prepare for the third annual Artful Harvest Juried Art Exhibit sponsored by Southern Heartland Arts.
The exhibit will begin today and run through Sept. 29, in the meeting room of the Newton County Library, located at 7116 Floyd St. It is free and open to the public.
Art will be judged in two categories: 3-D which includes sculpture, turned wood, stained glass, pottery and clay, and 2-D which includes photography, water color, pastels and other hanging art. Prizes will be awarded in each category and a $500 cash prize will be awarded for overall best of show.
