GBI arrests Conyers man on child porn charges

CONYERS — The Georgia Bureau of Investigations arrested a Conyers man this week after finding more than 40 images of child pornography on his computer.

Moses Sauceda, 47, of 966B Edwards Circle, Conyers was charged with sexual exploitation of children Tuesday after authorities found 42 images and movies of child pornography on his computer.

According to a GBI press release, the special agents got a search warrant for Sauceda's home after an investigation revealed that Sauceda's IP address was being used to share images of suspected or known child pornography.

Conyers Police Department assisted in the search warrant at Sauceda's home.

Sauceda's arrest was part of an ongoing effort by GBI's Internet Crimes Against Children task force, or ICAC, according to the press release.

"The ICAC program, created by the U.S. Department of Justice, was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the Internet, the proliferation of child pornography and the heightened online activity by predators searching for unsupervised contact with underage victims," the release said.

Two local men were arrested in January as part of this GBI program's statewide sweep earlier this year.
