Man wanted in connection with child molestation arrested in Tennessee
An alleged child molester from Covington who has been on the run since August has been arrested in Tennessee, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office. Kent Stanley Jones, 44, was wanted on three counts each of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes. He is being held without bond in the Hawkins County Jail, awaiting extradition to Newton County. For the full story, see Wednesday's Newton Citizen.
