The city of Porterdale is offering a $100 reward for evidence leading to a conviction of the person or persons responsible for a spate of spray-painting vandalism around Porterdale recently. According to Porterdale Police Lt. James Pilgrim, the vandals have struck at B.C. Crowell Park, the Depot and several houses in the late evening or early morning hours. "There's no evidence this is gang-related," he said. "They're just mainly writing nicknames and initials and one time there was some profanity. It's just something like a bored teenager without any direction would do." Anyone who has information to report concerning these incidents should call Pilgrim at 770-786-2226 or e-mail jpilgrim@cityofporterdale.com.
