Eastside High School celebrated Georgia Apply to College Week with several special events last week. The week kicked off with college representatives and school counselor Tina Daniel-Reasey presenting information to students during its Nov. 5 varsity football game. During the school week, Daniel-Reasey worked with students to create accounts at www.gacollege411.org and then apply to colleges; she also held a parent meeting to focus on the application process and financial aid.
Georgia Perimeter College waived a $20 application fee during the special week. Senior Lincoln Temple completed the college scavenger hunt and returned his form first to win a $25 cash prize; he is pictured with Daniel-Reasey.
