COVINGTON -- An Oxford man has been charged with second degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left in connection with the Nov. 8 death of motorcyclist Terrance Michael Collins, 39, also of Oxford.
Donald Paul Kahle, 69, of 232 Boogers Hill Road was arrested Friday and taken to the Newton County Detention Center.
The crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. when Kahle allegedly turned his pickup into the Stone Road recycling center in front of Collins, according to Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright.
Wright said the second degree charge was made because alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
