Officers with the Covington Police Department are looking for a man who attempted to rob the Dollar General store at 7118 U.S. Highway 278 at gunpoint around 9:45 Tuesday night. He is described as a black male, medium complexion, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a slim build, twists in his hair and wearing a black coat, white shirt and blue jeans.
