COVINGTON -- A motorcyclist died Monday afternoon after striking a pickup that was turning into the Stone Road recycling center, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Terrance Michael Collins, 39, of Oxford was fatally injured.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. when a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling west on Stone Road and attempting to make a left turn into the recycling center, according to GSP spokesman Gordy Wright.
" ... the truck was hit in the rear quarter-panel by an eastbound Harley Davidson motorcycle," Wright said.
The 68-year-old driver of the pickup was uninjured.
"The investigation is continuing and charges are pending the completion of the investigation," Wright said.
