Newton County Superior Court Judge Samuel Ozburn, left, swears in his son David Ozburn as a member of the State Bar of Georgia as David's wife, Ashley, holds the Bible. A Newton County native, David Ozburn is a graduate of Eastside High School, Georgia Tech and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Judge Ozburn said his son received word last week that he had passed the bar exam. "I had the privilege of swearing him in to be a member of the bar (Wednesday)," Ozburn said, adding that mom Rhonda Ozburn is very proud as well.
