Alcovy High School has several events coming up this month.
The school's Relay for Life team is sponsoring a community yard sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school. Individuals and groups can rent a space at the yard sale for $15 and keep any profits. For more information, contact Didi Davis at davis.didi@newton.k12.ga.us.
The school also will host a Community Fall Festival from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at the school. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids ages 3 to 12; ages 2 and under are free. Once in, attendees will receive a wristband for free children games. Other activities planned for this event are a moonwalk, a cakewalk, toy swap, food and drinks; various vendors also will be on hand.
