Twelve years ago, these students celebrated the completion of kindergarten. Today, they stand ready to face the world as adults.
Rain and cloudy skies couldn't dampen the mood of seniors in Rockdale and Newton counties who celebrated graduation from high school this weekend. Students from Alcovy, Eastside and Newton high schools in Newton County and Heritage, Rockdale County and Salem high schools in Rockdale County now enter college, the military or the work force as they take the next step in their lives.
The Citizen has captured just a few of the images from graduations held around Rockdale and Newton counties this weekend.
