CONYERS — An outdoor concert Saturday at Granite Mountain Harley Davidson kicks off the summer while raising funds for breast cancer patients and family support with four bands, vendors and artists.

Gates open at noon Saturday for the "Family and Friends Music Festival." Admission is free, and organizers are inviting people to come with a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy an afternoon of music. A silent auction will be held and donations will be accepted to benefit Breast Cancer Network of Strength, the nonprofit partner of Harley Davidson Motorcycles that works to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Atlanta-based Southern Rock band Jace N' Lee will headline the event. Other groups scheduled to perform are Legacy, a progressive rock band from Atlanta that has been together for more than 20 years playing venues around the Southeast; Frizzy, a local singer/songwriter from Atlanta who plays original folk/rock music; and Escape Ferocity, a female duo from Calhoun made up of Kelly Green and Rysa Davis.

Other performers scheduled to appear at the festival are J.B. Walker, Nathan Nelson, Bill Sheffield and Larry Bowie, among others.

Granite Mountain General Manager Darryll Gower said his business is hosting the concert to help families who have been affected by breast cancer. He said he hopes that everybody has a good time enjoying the music while helping others.

"We want to get deeper involved in the community like we used to be," Gower said.

Granite Mountain will celebrate its sixth anniversary June 5 with another concert — performers to be announced — and a Legends of Wrestling show to include Abdullah the Butcher, Steve "The Brawler" Lawler, Terry "the Rocker" Lawler and the masked Original Assassin. Admission will be charged for this event with a portion of the proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Network of Strength.
