The Newton County Senior Center recently sponsored its Second Annual Pearls of Wisdom Luncheon in honor of Women's History Month. Ten honorees, along with 65 guests, took part in the event. Entertainment was provided by a solo song by Jackie Smith and a medley by members of the Voices of Wisdom Choir. Also on tap for the day were words of appreciation, salutation, praise and great food.
