Former Harlem Globetrotter Elbert "Tree" Gordon was at Turner Lake Recreation Complex this week, helping area teens learn all the right moves with a basketball. He's president of Global Legends Youth Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers basketball camps, motivational speakers and activities across the U.S. He played with the Globetrotters from 1990 to 1995. Here, he shows Newton County ninth-grader Tyrik Borner how to get that ball spinning.
