The carts were bumper to bumper and ready to roll when the Charter Charity Classic golf tournament was held Wednesday. The event benefited the Miracle League of Newton County and organizers said they raised $22,000, all of which will be used toward the construction of the Miracle League field. The tournament was sold out with 33 teams, including ESPN, Turner Networks, SRG Global, Georgia Civil, Graycliff Enterprises and many more. There were more than 40 hole sponsors and various silent auction items donated including autographed footballs from Vince Dooley and Calvin Johnson.
