Camper Joey Stagemeyer gets acquainted with the joys of horsemanship during Achievement Adventure Camp held this week at Falconwood Farms on U.S. Highway 278. Helping Joey is camp counselor Emily Arnold, as well as Paddington, a 21-year-old Belgian horse who has worked with special-needs kids his entire life. The camp, which is in its second year, is for youngsters 6 to 18 years old with needs stemming from the Autistic spectrum and is hosted by Priscilla Faulkner and Ryan Mitchell. Other activities featured at the camp included social skills, arts and crafts, and karate.
