Frank and Oletha "Pug" Thompson of Conyers celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 2. Frank is retired from the BOC Group, after 20 years of service. "Pug" is retired from Flooring Distributors Inc., after 38 years of service. They have one daughter, Cindy, married to husband Dale Beveridge. They have two grandchildren, Maddie and Kristopher of Covington. They are members of Crosspoint Christian Church in Conyers. Frank has been with the Masonic Organization for 50-plus years and with the Philologia Lodge in Conyers for 30-plus years. The Thompsons are both members of the Gleanor Chapter of Eastern Star, both having served as worthy Matron and Worthy Patron in 1984 to 1985.
