Marshall and Lois Mewborn of Milstead will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 14. Marshall is a retired painter from Georgia Institute of Technology. The couple will celebrate on May 8 with family and friends. They have three children: Hazel Payne of Conyers, Brenda Owens of McDonough and Marcella Owens of Conyers. They have five grandchildren: Jason Payne of Conyers, Jefferson Owens of Milstead, Kristin Finley of Grayson, Keeli Nicholson of McDonough and Bryan Owens of McDonough. They have seven great-grandchildren: Mark Finley, Hannah Finley, Christian Nicholson, Kiel Nicholson, Caleb Nicholson, Gavin Owens and Savannah Owens.
