Alton H. Jordan and Sara H. Jordan of Covington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 24. The couple celebrated with family and friends at the Blue Willow Restaurant in Social Circle. Alton is retired from the U.S. Post Office. Sara is a retired business owner. The couple has two children, Karen Jordan Morgan and the late Stan L. Jordan. They have two grandchildren, Jeffrey Jordan and Torri Morgan. They have two great-grandchildren, Chase Jordan and Taylor Jordan.
