Gabrielle Green of the Newton County Library gives cousins Jenna Davis and Ryann Jones a few tips on knitting. Jones is a student at Corner Stone Christian School in Lithonia and Davis is visiting from Memphis, Tenn. The girls were participating in the ongoing knitting classes for people 8 years and up at the library. All that students need to participate are size 8 knitting needles and a desire to learn. There will be a break in the classes the third week in June, but they will resume on a weekly basis when school starts. For more information, call 770-787-3231.
