Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5. The couple was honored with a reception given by their son, Howard L. Anderson Jr. and daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Kevin Reagin. The reception was held at the Lake Capri Clubhouse. The three-tiered wedding cake was decorated in gold and pink flowers. A buffet dinner was served and the entertainment was provided by an Elvis impersonator, Charles Grimes. Howard is retired from DeKalb County Board of Education with 31 years of service. June is retried from Ft. McPherson and Ft. Gillem with 25 years of service. The couple has lived in Conyers for 32 years.
