Reggie Ezells probably wished he was enjoying the breeze of a tropical palm tree and enjoying a refreshing beverage instead of sweating in the Ingles grocery parking lot Friday morning as temperatures steadily rose. Ezells and other vendors were busy making deliveries to ensure supplies are adequate for the weekend which forecasters say will be another scorcher. Temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 90s for the weekend with high humidity and hazardous weather warnings in effect for Newton County. The only relief in sight is a 30 to 40 percent chance for thunderstorms.
