Special Photo. The Conyers Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently recognized students who performed outstanding work in the subject of American history. American History Chairman Bertha Little presented the following students with certificates and medals: from left, Laura Nelson -- 11th-grader at Heritage High School; Kirsten Wells -- 11th-grader at Heritage High School; Ashley Wilson -- 11th-grader at Rockdale Career Academy; and Joshua Saxton -- 11th-grader at Rockdale County High School.
