Barbara Williams took this photo of Canada geese walking on an ice-covered Salem Lake near her home Sunday. Williams said she was surprised at the ice and how well the geese navigated it when they flew over for bread she tossed out. The geese and local residents should see the last of the ice from the recent cold snap as weather forecasters expect temperatures to reach 60 degrees by Thursday.
