Both Rockdale and Newton residents should have no problem being "healthy, wealthy and wise" in 2011 as stores have large supplies of collard greens on hand for New Year's Day feasts. Charlie Little keeps a big supply handy at Johnson's Supermarket on Washington Street in Covington. Little has been stocking collards at the market for 14 years and said he definitely follows tradition and eats collards each year "because everybody needs more green in their life."
