COVINGTON -- A Covington woman was seriously injured Thursday morning in a one-car wreck on Ga. Highway 20, near Oak Hill Road, just inside the Newton County line.
The 36-year-old driver was the only occupant of the vehicle, according to the Georgia state Patrol.
"It appears she lost control of her car, which was a black 1995 Nissan Sentra," said GSP spokesman Gordy Wright. "After she lost control, she entered the east shoulder where the car overturned and she was totally ejected. She was flown to Atlanta Medical Center by Air Life."
