Indian Creek Middle School students in Marjorie Morgan's gifted English class have been reading "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens and, in addition, researched Victorian fashion, etiquette, entertainment and history. On Thursday, Mr. Scrooge held a "New Year's Party" to celebrate his newfound interest in humanity. The students all chose a Victorian character to personify by dressing and acting the part. They also ate Victorian-era food and decorated the classroom to look like a Victorian parlor. Pictured is seventh-grader Chance Demby.
